MESSAGE FROM GOTH CARTER

Yo ho ho everyone!!

I wanted to get some photos up on the website quickly from the Christmas Live last Saturday 24th of December!!

I REALLY THANK all the people who came and made it such a great night!!!

You guys rock!! [so I could rock!!!]

GOTH ROCKING!! Is he in pain???!!! [NO .... only the audience were. ha ha!]

As usual, I was overworked [and underpaid. ha ha!], having spent 1 and a half weeks doing intensive preparation for the performance.

So the good vibes and great energy coming from everyone really helped to 'keep me UP!' throughout the 3 STAGES I performed.

FIRST STAGE was a little quieter, although the ending of Hotel California which is an extended electric guitar solo, wasn't so quiet!! There was also some country songs, light rock [ex: MOONDANCE by Van Morrison], and even some romantic songs, such as Just the 2 of us and Sade's Smooth Operator.

The SECOND STAGE was LOTS OF FUN..... juggling and singing Christmas songs together.

Plus a few great audience songs, like STAND BY ME and COUNTRY ROADS.

The 'brave' volunteers who came up on stage to hold the flash cards for my KAMA HEN KAMA HEN OSAKA BEN song did an excellent job!!

I especially LOVE the tiny and MECHA cute 3 year old girl who got up on stage and danced during my show!! Brittany - watch out girl friend!

The THIRD STAGE was Rock and Roll - Take it Easy, Stairway to Heaven, Long train Running,

GOTH CARTER - STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN [LED ZEPPELIN]

I was called back for an ENCORE [thanks again everyone!!!!!] which included the Beatles' I saw her standing there, and Kenny Loggins' FOOTLOOSE.

Both regular fans and lots of new people came.

My sincere thanks to Rajasthan restaurant and DANDELIONS for inviting me back to perform [after a forced break of 2 years].

The DANDELIONS management have said again to me that they love my show and want to hold a regular 'once a month' performance.

Details of that will be posted on this website [and theirs] once we have the details settled.

Also a 'special thankyou' to Julie K who always comes and takes photos and video. The video will be uploaded as soon as I can edit them.

Julie also puts up with me being nervous and short tempered before each show. Sorry Julie.
