GENERAL LESSON INFORMATION

The DESIGN & LAYOUT CLASSES are PRIVATE lessons.

You can choose to study 1 HOUR or 2 HOUR lessons. So, you would study either 4 hours or 8 hours every month.

You can taylor the lesson days and times to suit your schedule [as long as they total either 4 or 8hrs in the month].

If you wish to study more than 8hrs per month, that's also ok. Please let me know and I will work out a schedule to suit you.

Note: DESIGN & LAYOUT CLASSES are also included in PHOTOGRAPHY lessons, if you choose to study Photography.

I use Adobe ILLUSTRATOR CS3 and PHOTOSHOP CS3, plus other programs associated with them [ex: Adobe Bridge].

NOTE FOR JAPANESE STUDENTS: Because the lessons are spoken in ENGLISH,

this is a GREAT CHANCE to IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH while you are studying DESIGN & LAYOUT.

[I speak intermediate level Japanese, so if it helps our communication, I might sometimes speak in Japanese - if you want.]

Because the lessons are private, we can study your favourite styles of LAYOUT & DESIGN, at a pace to suit your learning curve.

As you gain experience, knowledge and technique, we can follow the directions you become interested in during your lessons.

Make your own graphics, logos, business cards, posters, pamphlets, special occasion cards…. Pretty well anything you can imagine!!

My background includes fashion, CD jacket photos, events and art. I am also a university trained teacher of Art [majoring in Photography and Video]. I have taught Photography in Australia as well as here in my school in Japan.
